Betty Crocker Corn Muffin Mix

Finally tested out my last corn muffin mix. I would say it's okie. Oddly a bit crunchy but i think it's because of the cornmeal.

At the end of the day nothing beats the Kenny Roger's corn muffins so looks like i'll have to try out the recipe 1 day.

This is gonna be the last Dinosaur for some time. He looks cute right? But he's got floppy legs that totally refuse to be unfloppy !@#$%^&*()

So now I'm off to slack!

P.S The Dinosaur has eyes.

CC Birthday 2006 Part 2

CC had a BBQ at his friend's place the next day. It was kind of joint birthday celebration with Michelle Ng.

We went to NTUC to pick up some food and supplies, but most of the raw supplies were provided by Michelle.

Sadly it started to rain, thank goodness Melvin and Cousin managed to get the fire started during the 1st interval. But we had to cover up the pit in order to rescue the fire.

CC Birthday 2006

It's CC's Birthday with lotsa of Bird-Day and Zhu Ni Shen Ren Qwai Le Songs from me today!!

We went to Seoul Gardens for lunch. People go there and BBQ but we being special, go there and eat salad (Just kidding!!)




After all the BBQ-ing, I had ice-cream slurpz. IMHO, the green mint with chocolate chip is the best flavour they have there.



Had a cake cutting ceremony at his house much much later...



The blackforest cake from Lido Cake Shop in AMK was just oh soooo GOOD! (Seriously, I think they sell some of the nicest cakes.)

1st Movie Marathon 2006

Yesterday was a totally rainy day, seemed like it rained for the whole of yesterday....

Went out with CC to Jubilee to watch The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It was so slow at the start!!! But much better towards the end because of the battle scenes. Kinda reminds me of LOTR, boring without the battle scenes. Hmmm does that mean i like battle scenes?

Then i met up with my family and mic at Yishun later to watch Wallace & Gromit: Curse of the Were-Rabbit. Me, being the super blur person that i am nowadays, booked 6 tickets instead of 5! Lucky for me, michelle was free to join us. ;)

I found Wallace & Gromit more entertaining, full of funny one liners and corny scenes. As for Narnia, I think I'd rather read the book, somehow it's not as entertaining on screen compared to Harry Potter.

2 P or not to 2 P

that is the question asked...

Today, I had 2 consecutive driving lessons, so after the 1st lesson i needed to answer the call of nature. I headed to the loo on the ground floor, but there was queue !@#$%^&*(). So trying to be smart i headed to the loo on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately there were people who had the same idea as me, so i had to queue whether i liked it or not.

When it was finally my turn, this lady (who was not in the queue) approached me and told me that her class was at 10:30am and could i let her go 1st, and i apologised saying that i had a 10:30am lesson too. Now the thing was that there was quite a long queue behind me (around 4-5 people). Had i let her go ahead of me, people might have ham tum me!

Lucky for me a had an excuse not to let her go... however what would have happened if i had no excuse or couldnt think up of an excuse in time? (visions me with tons of bruises.... hehe)

I guess it would not be fair to let her go even if i didnt have a 10:30am lesson, what if all the people behind me had 10:30 lessons, would i have to let them all go before me?

So the question is what would you have said to the lady?

1ST POST 2006

OK, this is my 1st post for 2006, so here we go!

Over the last few days i've been pondering over my New Year's resolutions. For a while i couldn't think of anything, but i knew that i couldn't be possibly that perfect hehe so i managed to come up with these few things.

1) Be less lazy and stop procastinating!
(haha i just started by updating cat's blog link on my blog!)

2) Make sure i eat my vitamins religiously

3) STOP splurging needlessly
(i've come to realise that i waste tons of money not using things that i purchase)

4) Sleep earlier and wake up earlier

Yep that's it! I know that i'll probably break my resolutions soon but i'll try and stick to them most of the time!

Anyway this totally amazing thing happened yesterday. CC was giving me a lift home and he stopped at the petrol kiosk (near the St Vincent De Paul church) to pump petrol and i went into the mart to buy some chocolate milk (my current craze). And there was this lady attendant sweeping the floor and she looked up and smiled and said good morning! in a super cheery tone.

Now 1st of all, usually the mart attendants do not even greet u! And 2nd, it was like around 3am in the morning and she was so cheery! I was so stunned that that i jus kinda gaped at her for a second and then quickly wished her good morning too. The thought that raced through my head was like wow wow WOW! Ok it was early in the morning and i was tired, but her cheery good morning really perked me up some how.

I never knew a really cheery good morning could affect a person so much... hmm maybe i should add cheery good mornings to my resolution list.
