Sounds like some pirate thingy like Ahoy!!
But it's not! It's my newly installed FREE antivirus. So far so good, though i'm more used to Norton so the interface still confuses me.
But what the hack! it's free and it uses less memory than Norton and that's more than enough to swing the vote IMO ; )

Bread and Butter Pudding Recipe
Moi loves bread and butter pudding so decided to be lazy and blog down this recipe (that sounds easy) so that i'd never have problems finding it.
Taken from the TODAY Paper 24 Aug 2006
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/4 cup dried cranberries
5 tbsp butter, room temperature
20 slices FairPrice Enriched White Bread, crust
removed
5 Pasar eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups FairPrice hi-cal milk
1 tsp ground cinnamon sugar
Method
1. Soak raisins and cranberries in hot water until fluffy. Set aside.
2. Spread butter over the slices of bread and slice diagonally in half.
3. To prepare the custard, beat eggs, sugar and vanilla until pale yellow then slowly add milk and whisk until well combined.
4. Layer slices of bread (butter side up) in a baking pan or oven-proof dish, slightly overlapping the slices. Scatter raisins and cranberries in between. Pour half of the custard over.
Continue placing another layer of bread and pour remaining custard on top, followed by the dried frui ts. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over. Let the dish stand for 30 minutes so that the bread is soaked with the custard mixture.
5. Bake pudding in a pre-heated oven at 180 deg C for 40 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

Dr Privacy
Went to the doctor sometime back due to a bad case of flu. Oddly, at the registration counter i was asked which company i worked for.
To me it's like... "huh? what does where i work at have anything to do with seeing a doctor?" Needless to say i refused to tell them because they couldn't give me a good enough reason (Nope keeping record is NOT a good reason!).
Got a bit cheesed off when the doctor asked me again during examination. When i asked him why he told me it's interesting to keep records 0.0"
Maybe i've been surfing too much US based forum but isn't this like a privacy issue? So what is it? If i work in certain sectors i treated better? It's just NUTS!

NDP Spoiler
Was gonna post up my photos but btw laziness, work and a stomach ailment it kinda got delayed...
Was lucky enough to get tixs to the preview courtesy of CC's sis's BF (Thanks GoldFish!) and Rus had tixs too so we went together... was kinda excited cos it was my 1st NDP (even though it was a preview but still!)
Overall it was interesting though i didn't really feel the "atmosphere" thing that people were talking about... only got the feeling when i was singing the ndp songs or the national anthem
My temp tattoo (the only type of tattoo i'm allowed to get ;p)

It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's not superman, but sg parachute people!

Their giant lollipop aka landing pad

Here he comes!

Holy smoking parachute people!

Some pics of the performance

And gasp... what's PAP doing in the performance??

Actually I think it's Town Council Members or Helpers or something... but they shouldn't be carry the PAP flag. If so it'd only be more fair if Opposition Party people were allowed to participate too!
Look here for a close up if you need more confirmation.. (Hope no one knocks on my door in the middle of the
night...)
Release of balloons

Is it gonna rain? Nah! We're jus given brollies cos we're sitting close to the fireworks

Yeah I actually managed to get a few good shots of fireworks! Sadly we were not seated at the best position to view the fireworks zzz

And here's my loot!

Dinner on Sunday @ Peach Gardens to celebrate Rus's 16 Bday!

Some of the nicer and interesting dishes...
Wasabi Prawns

Lamb Shank

Lobster Noodle, which the waiter claimed, in sg was only available in their restaurant

Cod fish

Dad's dessert, glutineous black rice in a coconut with ice cream

and a thank you peach from the restaurant
